Palmetto International Missions
Palmetto International Missions is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that exists to promote the health and well being of impoverished, rural communities in Honduras by providing an opportunity to build permanent housing. Through our work, we facilitate remote housing and community infrastructure projects by offering resources and knowledge, and we strive to improve economic opportunities by teaching construction trade skills.
Who We Serve
PIM serves the most vulnerable communities in rural Honduras, where families often live in substandard housing. We focus on areas like San Antonio Tapesco, La Cumbre, Trinidad and Copan Ruinas, working closely with local leaders to identify those most in need. By providing safe, durable homes, we aim to uplift these communities, fostering long-term stability and growth.
Measuring Success Through Our Achievements
Through our commitment to these communities, PIM has constructed homes that have transformed the lives of countless families. Our impact goes beyond housing; we empower local economies, build resilience, and enrich lives through our approach to community development.
